A graduate of OSU with a bachelor's degree in Political Science, he received his juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma in 1995 and since then has fought tirelessly to defend and protect the rights of their clients.
He has the honor of serving on various boards and committees and served as chairman of the Agency for the Development of the Latino Community for 5 years. Other memberships include the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce of the South of OKC, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Tulsa and the Rotary Club of OKC.
Michael is well known within the community and his commitment to the interests of hispanics is unquestionable. Today, Michael Brooks-Jimenez has founded a prestigious team of legal services with the aim to continue fighting for the rights of their clients and the people of Oklahoma.
About the Senator
Senator Michael Brooks is a proud resident of the southwestern City of Oklahoma City. His family has lived in the south of Oklahoma City for four generations. Michael's mother taught at the Oklahoma City Community College, and her father worked for the Public Schools of Oklahoma City.
Michael earned his bachelor's degree at Oklahoma State University and his doctorate in Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Oklahoma. Guided by her entrepreneurial spirit, opened Michael Brooks-Jimenez, P. C., in the south of Oklahoma City 25 years ago.
Michael and his wife, Jessica began their family in the southwest of Oklahoma City. Together they have been blessed with two wonderful children.
Michael devotes countless hours each year to the community of southwest Oklahoma City. He serves as a mentor for the students of Oklahoma City, is a graduate or Leadership Oklahoma City, and a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Southern Oklahoma City.
Outside of his business and of his work in the Capitol, Michael continues his service to the community through their volunteer work for various organizations. He is currently president of the Board of Santa Fe South Charter Schools. He was president of the Board of the Agency of Development of the Latino Community. He was also named a member of the board of the year in 2006 by the ESQ. other services of the board include the Alliance for Economic Development, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. The family Brooks attends the catholic church of St. James in the south of Oklahoma City.

After immigrating to the United States from Lima, Peru at the beginning of the decade of 2000, César was inspired to pursue a career in immigration law after having experienced the process of immigration itself. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Oklahoma City in 2018. During his tenure at OCU Law, César was a member and secretary of the Society of Legal Immigration. In addition, he was a law clerk with a license to the office of the district attorney of Oklahoma County while attending law school.
Before law school, Cesar received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2010, with a double major in Political Science and Sociology, as well as a minor in History. He also received a Master's degree in Business Administration from MidAmerica Christian University in 2012.
He was admitted to the state bar of Oklahoma in 2018, and in the District Court of the United States for the Western District of Oklahoma. César is a current member of the Oklahoma bar Association, the American bar Association and the American Association of Immigration Lawyers.
Samuel Wargin Grimaldo
Sam Wargin Grimaldo was born and raised in the south area of Oklahoma City and provides a community-oriented approach to his legal practice. He received his bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Central Oklahoma before working directly with the community in several functions of the delivery of the youth and the family of disclosure, as well as being a teacher in U.S grant High School.
Sam earned his Juris Doctorate from the Faculty of Law of the University of Oklahoma in 2022, where he founded and served as president of the Law Society of Immigration, as well as the president of community outreach for the Association of Law Students who were Latinx. During law school, he completed internships with the office of the Public Defender of the County of Oklahoma, the American Civil Liberties Union of Oklahoma, and the Metropolitan Council Housing Fair of Oklahoma.
Outside of the legal work, Sam enjoys spending time with her daughter, organizing and participating as a volunteer in the neighborhood and community events in the Capitol Hill area. He also likes to participate in the local art community. He is currently a member of the board of directors and chairman of the committee on education and public programs of the Contemporary Art Center of Oklahoma. he is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and is admitted to participate in the Federal court in the Western District of Oklahoma.
